Michael J. O’Donnell manages all operational aspects of UCF Venture Accelerator, which oversees all business coaching activities, UCF’s mentor network education programs and SBIR proposal support for UCF students/faculty interested in commercializing technologies. O’Donnell also formed the Florida Angel Nexus in 2012, an active angel network with a mission to provide funding and advising for Florida-based emerging growth business. Formerly O’Donnell was Managing Director and Chief Technology Investment Officer for GATX Capital, where heled the financing of joint ventures in Great Britain, Germany and Australia. O’Donnell also has thirteen years of executive management experience in companies supplying products to the automotive industry, including a management led LBO, and was the co-founder and CEO of ALS, LLC which grew over 6,000 employees and was sold in 2007.
