Erik Sand is Vice President of Customer Development and Operations for Junyo. He is responsible for developing and managing Junyo’s sales and distribution channels as well as the company’s Orlando operations. This includes working with many of the country’s major school districts, publishers and on-line providers selling, supporting, and designing Junyo’s current and future products as well as driving sales and distribution with those partners. Before Junyo acquired 360Ed, Sand was in a similar role for 360Ed, Inc.
Prior to 360Ed, Sand spent 12 years with IBM, most recently as an Associate Partner in IBM’s Global Business Services where he was responsible for the sales and delivery of full lifecycle application development projects, particularly in the area of mobility and emerging technologies. He has held positions with Gensym, Digital Equipment Corporation, and General Electric spanning many different sales, consulting, engineering, and technical roles.
Sand holds B.S., M.S., and MBA degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
