Erin Curatu is the founder of Kick The Ceiling, a strategic advising company for private practice surgeons. Her mission is to help doctors become as expert in business as they are in medicine. Erin earned her BA in Political Science and MBA from the University of Central Florida. She graduated with a Business Certificate in Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals from Cornell University. Erin is a certified Executive Coach and has earned continuing education certificates from the Institute of Coaching and McLean Hospital at Harvard University.
Erin partners with and coaches brilliant, left-brained leaders on their executive presence, difficult behavior, and ability to handle the next level of leadership no matter how big the crowd, how tough the audience, or how much is riding on the outcome.
Erin volunteers her time as a UCF i-Corps Mentor and quarterly presenter for the UCF Business Incubator at UCF’s Main Campus and Kissimmee on topics such as Tackling Burnout, Strengthening Your Power Base, and Persuasion and Influence.
Her emerging interests include business strategy, leadership impact, finding the small choices that shift followership, stakeholder relationships, negotiation tactics, high-stakes coaching where outcomes are uncertain, and personal branding.
