UCF is hosting a Sports, Media & Entertainment I-Corps Specialty Cohort. This program will source and foster the development of 8-10 early-stage innovations in media, sports and entertainment from among the researchers and innovators in the Central Florida region. The program will utilize the 5-week UCF I-Corps methodology and program of Customer Discovery and will include executives from local media, sports & entertainment industry as Instructors, Mentors, and Subject Matter Experts.

The objective of this program is to connect the best innovations in the region to the top companies in  Central Florida that are the spearheading entertainment innovations used worldwide.  In addition to experience in conducting Customer Discovery and National Science Foundation funding, participants will have numerous opportunities to interact with potential investors, strategic partners, and executives for rapidly accelerating market validation, commercialization and growth.

All meetings and Customer Discovery sessions will be conducted virtually.  Time commitment is 20 hours/week per team.
